THE SOCIETY FOR PRESERVATION OF ISRAEL HERITAGE SITES - 

100 YEARS OF NEGEV

In honor of 100 years since Israel's driest desert was transformed into a more accommodating landscape the Society for the Preservation of Israel Heritage Sites commissioned a logo and the visual language design for their event.

BRIEF SUMMARY

The target audience was mainly families with children, and week-long program offered a variety of educational activities exploring the industrial and social history of the Negev. The visuals were designed to be friendly and appealing to both children and adults.

A GRAPHIC MURAL

 

The project required a "graphic mural" to echo the design on a large surface. The mural portrays early efforts to irrigate the desert, and symbols such as water towers, pipelines and wells comprised the motifs for all the campaign events and materials.
